Kara Chisholm is a Planner for the City of Quincy, eight miles south of Boston. She graduated from the University of Virginia in 2010 with a B.A. in American Studies and a minor in Architectural History. She has experience working with the Boston Preservation Alliance, as a real estate salesperson in Boston, and as a Coordinator at Fidelity Management and Research Company.
Kara intends to pursue a Master’s degree in Urban Planning in the next few years. Her related interests include Architectural History, Urban Design, Real Estate Development, and Architecture. She is especially intrigued by the psychological impact physical spaces have on the people that inhabit them.
In her spare time she enjoys kayaking, exploring Boston Harbor, learning to salsa dance, step aerobics, touring historic homes, listening to music, grocery shopping, and looking at pictures on fashion blogs.
